As I'm re-watching Deep Space Nine, I've come to the conclusion that Leeta is a very underrated character.

Ok, I'm so late for this party, but I felt like pitching in anyway.

I always thought they could have done so much more with Leeta. Mostly they just made her look like the bimbo with the big boobs, but honestly, she had so much more to offer!

I know! I would have loved to see more of Leeta too.

I would have liked to know what happened to her in the Occupation. She's always so cheerful and unafraid, like when she helped start the union at Quark's. Was she a member of the Resistance like Major Kira?

I heard one of the novels said that she didn't have a last name 'cause she grew up in an orphanage.
