The Oldest Ensign In Starfleet

He just missed the Dominion War, and his cohort from the Academy would have most likely moved up the ranks very quickly from all the fighting, like Nog's meteoric trip from cadet to (IIRC) a field promotion to lieutenant commander, but Harry's stayed an ensign for seven years.
He'd have to call all his old school friends 'sir'.
Even his parents mention it when they finally get the ability to make space phone calls. "...still an ensign, huh sweetie? What's up with that?"
Poor Harry.
