Wow, you can see how often I usually post when left to my own devices.

Not much is new, just some bad news - the municipal airport I live next to is contaminated with some industrial degreaser down to the bedrock and has been that way since the Sixties. It supposedly can cause cancer. The company that owns the site isn't concerned as nobody drinks directly from the site (so they can't be sued I guess) but it is next to a river and farms. Who knows where that stuff has gone by now.

To fix it, all the dirt needs to be taken away six feet deep from the entire site and replaced.

Just across the highway. Damn, I'm glad I never got around to gardening anything edible.
