Stretchmarks In Spaaaaaaace!

The second to last episode of the fourth season, "Body Parts", had a subplot where Dr. Bashir transfers Keiko's fetus to Kira to save its life after a shuttle accident.
I didn't think about it much before, it was just a subplot, and done to cover up an actress's pregnancy with the usual Star Trek hand-wavey science, but seriously, that sounds like something that would hurt like a MF if you were Kira.
Of course, this being Star Trek, there's probably some wonder drug that temporarily turns your skin and innards into a putty-like consistency, but still... damn.
Clearly, we were not meant to think about this overmuch.
