Good Luck With That, Buddy
So to get all the notes in Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, your little character has to get married and have a child.
You pick a girl, woo her with gifts, and if your home is big enough and you have the Double Bed, you give her a blue feather as a proposal. If she has enough hearts (in the menu, they measure affection) she says 'yes' and the whole thing carries on from there.
To make things more interesting, each NPC girl has an NPC boyfriend to act as your rival.
There's this one guy, Kurt, who hangs around outside his love interest Dia's home and says nasty things to you if you bother him there. You can tell he's never gone inside his wannabe paramour's abode, 'cause she lives with another woman, the nurse Gina, and although the game doesn't state it outright, I think they're a couple. They even share the same Double Bed.
I kind of ship it now, Dia/Gina. :3
